There are several awards currently open for nominations. New this year is TexITE’s Transportation Achievement Award, to align with the national ITE award of the same name. TexITE’s winner in each of the five categories will be submitted for consideration of an award by national ITE.
The categories are:
- Complete Streets
- Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO)
- Safety
- Planning
- Traffic Engineering
To be considered for this award, submit a 5-page application by March 1, 2022. Agencies can submit one project in multiple categories.

Other awards currently open for nominations include the Daniel B. Fambro Student Paper Award, Younger Member Award, and Young Leaders to Follow program.
