Hosted by NCTCOG staff, DallasITE members were treated to a training on the 5th Edition of the AASHTO Guide for the Development of Bicycle Facilities. Trainings spanned three separate days to accommodate a larger cohort of engineers, planners, multimodal specialists and agency staff. Over 150 individuals collectively attended the training from July 22 – 24, 2026, which was held in Arlington (NCTCOG headquarters), Mesquite (TxDOT Dallas District headquarters), and Richardson (Temporary City Hall).
NCTCOG will be hosting additional trainings in the fall, covering the United States Access Board’s Public Right of Way Accessibility Guide (PROWAG). For more information, see here.
