Topic: “Intelligent Transportation – How Mature is it Really?”
Speaker: Mike McNair – Automation and Intelligent Systems Division Head at The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI)
Mike McNair joined the Research Institute in October 2013 overseeing the research in Unmanned Systems and Social/Assistive Robotic Technologies. He has a successful career in the development and management of research and engineering endeavors, working for several defense contract companies before moving into academia at UTARI. He is engaged in AUVSI events, having presented at prior conferences and actively participates in his local chapter. His current work includes business planning, collaboration and partnering, proposal development, and project oversight in unmanned systems, intelligent systems, and assistive technology domain areas. Mike has a B.S. in Physics from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and holds a current Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
The costs for the lunch are as follows:

The lunch line will open at 11:30 AM and the presentation will begin shortly after noon. We will have a menu of BBQ beef, chicken, and VEGETARIAN LASAGNA from Eddie Deen’s BBQ.
