Speaker: Marques Allen, P.E. – HDR
Marques Allen, P.E. is a Senior ITS Engineer for HDR, Inc. in Dallas and has been in the industry for 10 years. His career started with TxDOT under their engineering rotation program where he gained experience with roadway construction and traffic design (ITS, illumination, and traffic signals), and then went to work for Kapsch TrafficCom as a systems engineer where he received invaluable field experience with ITS and Tolling. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. He is actively involved with DFW Professionals Chapter of National Society of Black Engineers as the Telecommunications chair.

The lunch line will open at 11:30 AM and the presentation will begin shortly after noon. We will have a menu of BBQ beef, chicken, and VEGETARIAN LASAGNA from Eddie Deen’s BBQ.
