Topic: “Improving Traffic Safety – A Multidimensional Approach”
Speaker: Srinivas Geedipally, Ph. D, P.E. – Texas A&M Transportation Institute

Dr. Srinivas Geedipally is an Associate Research Engineer with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. He has more than 10 years of experience in traffic safety research and has participated in numerous traffic safety research projects with state and federal governments and international sponsors that are worth more than 6 million dollars. Dr. Geedipally has been a key contributor in the development of the Highway Safety Manual (HSM). He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2008, and he holds a M.Sc. degree in Traffic Environment and Safety Management from Linköpings University, Sweden. He is the winner of TRB Fred Burgraff award  and a two-time recipient of the Young Researcher Award from TRB. Dr. Geedipally is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. So far, he has more than 40 papers published in high-standard international journals and conferences.

The costs for the lunch are as follows:

The lunch line will open at 11:30 AM and the presentation will begin shortly after noon. We will have a menu of BBQ beef, chicken, and VEGETARIAN LASAGNA from Eddie Deen’s BBQ.
